URGENT: Studio Flood Update – Lesson Changes for Feb. 3-8

Dear Students and Families,

Four of our studios were flooded on Wednesday. Because of necessary mitigation work (tearing out walls and flooring), we cannot hold lessons at our location at New Beginnings Church from Monday, Feb. 3 – Saturday, Feb. 8.

Plan for This Week (Feb. 3-8):

• All lessons will be held over Zoom or at Caddo Mills United Methodist Church (Caddo Mills UMC).
• Most students will have an in-person option at Caddo Mills UMC, but it may be on a different day or at a different time than their usual lesson.
• Zoom/FaceTime lessons are available at more flexible times than the in-person options. If you’d like to volunteer for a Zoom lesson, please let us know—we appreciate it!

• We will be calling all families this weekend to schedule a one-time-only lesson for this week. This is just for this tricky week—your regular lesson time is NOT changing permanently.

Studio Location for In-Person Lessons This Week

2500 1st St, Caddo Mills, TX 75135
DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS OFF OF TX-66. STAY ON 66 AND ENTER THE CHURCH FROM THE BACK. THERE IS A SMALL PARKING LOT. YOU WILL SEE MY CAR THERE.

Important Parking & Entry Info:

• The parking lot is in the back, on TX-66.
• Use the back door of the church—this will be open for you to enter.
• Past the door is the kitchen; straight ahead are the bathrooms.
• To your right is the sanctuary, where you should wait quietly until your lesson time.
• Do not explore the church beyond this area. Do not enter any rooms connected to the entryway. We are guests.

Studio Software & Payments Update

We work hard to be as flexible as possible for our families, especially with scheduling and makeup lessons, and we need software that can keep up with that flexibility. After implementing the new studio management system, we found it wasn’t flexible enough for our needs—especially now, as we navigate this challenging time. We are switching systems again, and we appreciate your patience as we get everything set up.

Invoices will be going out soon under the new system. Your tuition should be the same this month as it was last month, unless you are a new student. You don’t need to wait until you receive an invoice to pay your tuition. Payments may be made through our website:

If you would like us to charge the last card you paid with, let us know and we can process it for you. You can also sign up for autopay for a hassle-free option.

Final Thoughts

We know this is a lot of change at once, and we truly appreciate your support as we get through this together. We are working hard to keep lessons running smoothly despite these challenges.
