Hello, everyone!

As many of you know, we’ve recently had to make some temporary changes to our schedule. With five teachers and only 2 studios and another location available, we’re being as creative as possible to keep everything running smoothly. We expect it will take about 2 to 4 weeks until we’re back to normal, and once we’re through this, we’ll return to the exact same schedule we had before.

In the meantime, some students may be asked next week (Week 23) to have a Zoom lesson as we work with limited space. We truly appreciate everyone’s flexibility during this time and are so grateful for your support while we’re adapting to these challenges.

We’re reaching out personally to remind everyone about their lessons. However, if you don’t receive a reminder but believe you have a lesson, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We want to make sure no one shows up when it’s not their lesson time, especially if it’s our mistake.

Please note that the lounge is closed for now. You can wait in your car, run some errands, or come inside and watch the lesson. If you’re bringing a sibling with you, please be mindful of any potential distractions.

We’re excited to announce our upcoming concert at Briarcliff on Monday, February 17, which also happens to be President’s Day! We know that some students may have the day off, so we’re hoping to see as many of you as possible there!

The concert will begin at 11:00 AM. If you’re available and would like to join us, please reply to this newsletter to sign up. We’ll be thrilled to have you perform with us!

Ms. Melissa will be out this Saturday to play for the auditions of Godspell. For anyone interested in participating in this production, here’s the link to learn more: Rockwall Summer Musicals – Godspell.

Ms. Melissa will also be out after 10am on Saturday, February 8 for a funeral.

Ms. Mandy will be out on February 14.

Ms. Felicia will be out on February 27.

Music Discovery and Kids’ Community Strings wish to thank New Beginnings for their ongoing support!

New Beginnings is working with Altrusa Club and United Way to collect blankets and tube socks for the homeless. Please bring these items to your lessons if you wish to contribute.
